Do we believe that money is our technology and it has been corrupted by Government and once we free it from them, we will have our money back? Back where a free market will balance all.



Is , the free market, god?



Once Government is defeated, the free market, swoops in and saves the day?



Do people ever have to be responsible?



Is that individual responsibility assumed in the free market?

I swear, that when I whine, I am willing to be responsible to make what I need.



So...



I already am trying to live in such a way that I am responsible for the things I have. I have a solar set up, water system, compost system, garden system...



A lot of my time is spent trying to create systems so that I don't need a job or money.



Yes I know, the world would explode if we didn't have money.



I am just wondering if there are alternate ways to get resources that don't have to be communist and what not...



Do we ask any of these questions before we, grandma just button, a new crypto-currency, to replace money?

I feel like this is a question that has a million answers. Which is my problem.



Money is more than just communication. Yes, I agree, money can be a form of communication. I don't understand why that seems to be it's most important feature.



Why are we just skipping right to the create new money part?



Can money also be shackles?



Sorry, I don't know a lot, but I have a million questions. I know that is pain.

Well, a racist needs a person to be offended by their racist actions/comments.



Words are easy to let roll off of our backs, but it is the action part that leads to trouble, right?



How about, we stop giving a shit about the importance of identity, not get rid of identity all together, you crazy wackadoos, but just not use it as our only way to judge patterns. Then, it will be a bit quieter and we will see all the jerks a lot better.

Entropy is, on a small scale, only a part of transmutation on a bigger scale.



If we are trying to artificially store value in something that would normally be trying to transmute itself, wouldn't money be locking ourselves in a prison of entropy and revolution?

Declare Your Independence / Stiegers law???

If, stiegers law, says something like; once a group is created around a principle, eventually, the welfare of the group will supercede the principle for which it was started.



If I got that right, couldn't this also be applied to money?



So, if that is also correct. Why would we still want money?

Promenade / Grandma Just Button

A, grandma just button, does a great job at making things easy for people, but at what cost? Money seems to be a grandma just button. I need food...just throw money at it..I need security...throw money at it...I need to communicate....throw money at it.



If I am constantly solving all these different problems with money, what am I actually learning?? NOTHING!!



Are we not the ultimate grandma just button? If we only pay attention and spend some time and learn to solve our own problems, we get smarter and don't need a grandma just button anymore.



I don't want a grandma just button. While the ease of use is tempting, it silently leads to me dumbing myself down. I don't have time for that, in the long run. I need to do the hard work now, so it is easier later, not the other way around.

Escape Velocity / pirate community

Can there be a moneyless pirate community? One fuled by our desire for freedom. Knowing that if a single one of us is shackled, we all are. We all have time. Can't we use that time better helping each other, rather than forcing ourselves to have jobs, so that we can help each other?



Maybe my calculations are off, but I see it like this; If I don't want people telling me what to do, I need to be responsible for my needs. Which is no easy task. Don't worry, I am not seeking sympathy,haha. More just trying to place into context, that I noticed that money is used by the state to keep me trapped in the system. The less money I use, the more knowledge I need to gain. Hmm... No wonder why the state likes it.



So why do talks of a stateless future need to include money??

I am nobody special. I am the same as everyone else and people call me, Doug.



I have 8 acres of land, that in order to be, mine...whatever that means, I had to pay money.



What do I want out of life? Well, to be free...right? Isn't that why we are here?



We are so concerned about, property. Who's land is this? I payed for it, but can someone else lay claim to it? Ugh..why is this the first argument? Let's really start at the individual! How about your body, do you own that? Of course! You yell at me. Emotions can control your actions. Do you always know why you are feeling the way you do? If not, you are being manipulated, by yourself, or external information. If we are not honest with ourselves, how can we be honest to other people?



This is what I am trying to do. Constantly ask myself, why.



So let's skip to the end. If I have to live in a cave, with two berries and a stick, in order to get back to freedom. THEN I AM GONNA LIVE IN A CAVE WITH TWO BERRIES AND A STICK!!!. To start, at least. And then I will work to build up systems to make collecting my resources easier. That's what money is for, you say. And yes, money will supply me with goods. BUT AT WHAT COST??? I don't want to pay my time to get money to pay for stuff.



My time has the most potential value. Money has an arbitrary value.



I don't want technology, if we can't figure out how to align it with freedom. We are having a hard enough time aligning ourselves with freedom.



I don't want anything from anybody, other than to just share ideas. I have a lot of wasted time in my past that I need to atone for. That is my responsibility. The assistance comes from paying attention to reality. My freedom is your freedom. That is what I am doing for all of you, learning how to free my mind first.

YES!!! Indeed it does.



It matters not, what form you want to conjure up money in,it will always shackle you to a State. A State of Being...that you can't be responsible for, thus continuing the same revolution. I thought we wanted to break free??? Why is Government bad, but money ok? We really can't imagine any other way?



But... hey! Screw you, you big commie jerk, you say. Fair enough, I may be, but I know I don't want to get a job so I can buy your shit, haha...and I won't let you make me! I want to be responsible for my own happiness. Let me say that again...I...I...I........I want to be responsible for my own happiness. Can I do that? And ALL....yes...ALL the hard work that comes with that.



As I work to break the shackles of the crown, I am not looking to trade those shackles for new shiny ones!



I can't buy food...darn. Well, nature provides for you. It only cost time and attention. In fact, as I work towards not using money, I find that the more systems I build...garden....solar...rain water...the more knowledge I gain, to have the wisdom to solve more problems.



But who will build the roads, if we don't have money? I thought where we were going, there aren't any roads!!!



Are people really, anti-intellectual property? If they are, why do they still want money? I don't want to buy your idea, I want to add it with mine and build it myself and reshare the idea.
