Hi there, just a quick introduction.  My name is Myles Wakeham and I am the host of the Unconstrained Podcast and the guy behind https://www.beunconstrained.com    Even though I live in Scottsdale, you'd think I would have known about Earnest & his great work, but nope - I found this community and website on d.tube of all places.  I guess that shows the power of decentralization and blockchains.

I am a firm believer in Libertarian principles, and am pretty much an ancap.  I spend a large portion of my time in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, when it is too hot to be in Arizona, and the blend between the two locations is great.  I'm originally from Australia although I've lived in the USA for about 25 years.  I'm a software engineer by trade, having worked in the technology industry for 35 years.  Although I'm kinda burned out by it, I am a big supporter and fan of decentralization and to return the world from statist control to a collection of smaller communities that are networked together.  I tend to be a fan of Adam Kokesh and his approach here, although even some of that may be a bit too extreme for me.

Anyway I'd like to throw my hat into the ring and see if I can contribute, help and strengthen the community here.  It is a breath of fresh air to find like minded folk here in AZ.  There are plenty of us in Mexico, BTW.  But I just got a bit depressed when the work of Ron Paul was co-opted by the GOP and turned into a shadow of it's former self.  I hope that enough groundswell people can support and strengthen those teachings and return us back to an economic stable platform rather than this coked up, debt infused mess that we now live within.

Thank you to all that have put this together and I hope to contribute in some way to its ongoing success.

Myles

Hey, welcome aboard.

You know, if you're in Arizona and you ever hear Ernie talking about one of the social gatherings he has at his home, you should feel totally welcome to go. Random listeners show up all the time, and that's pretty much how a lot of us met anyway. His address is at the foot of the show's homepage.

Welcome from me as well.  I'd caution you to be circumspect about Adam K.  Many feel they've been burned by him.

Sorry for taking so long to respond to the replies, but I do appreciate the welcomes.  I was expecting to get email notifications to replies, but nothing came.  I suspect I haven't subscribed to the thread or something.  Anyway thank you for the warm welcome.  I realize that Earnest is about to head on the road for 12 months so I guess I won't be showing up for a local shin dig for a bit.  But I'll keep an eye out for local happenings and try and get involved.
